We contacted Atlantic K9 in a time of desperation. Our nearly perfect, quiet, mellow dog Louie of 2.5 years had suddenly showed signs of fear aggression. It unfolded quicker than we could handle and before we knew it, Louie had 3 bites in under 3 months, most with family or friends he had met before. We lived in a place of fear, confusion and frustration until we finally met Atlantic K9. 

I interviewed three different trainers elsewhere but it was no competition. While other trainers tried to rush me off the phone or get something in the books ASAP, Atlantic had 3 different calls with us and a site visit to make sure we felt comfortable and understood what type of program Louie would be going through. 

Once we picked up Louie, there was an immediate sense of calmness and thought behind his behavior. If a kid drove by him on a bike, where he would normally go right to red rage, he now looked at me for direction. It’s not completely hands off and if there’s anything I learned, your dog will only be as good as your training following the boot camp. 

Ari was absolutely amazing and I’ve never felt so good leaving our Louie in the hands of someone else. We are continuing to send Louie back for lessons and over night stays. Can’t recommend Kathleen and the the Atlantic k9 team enough!
