Atlantic K9 has been a life changer for us! Our 9 month old German Shepherd puppy knew basic commands, but as she got older she started testing the limits. She pulled on walks, had no recall at all, and her behavior could be unpredictable. We wanted to address any problem behaviors before they escalated. Since we both work full time we couldn’t give her the time and consistency she needed to clearly define boundaries.

We chose Atlantic K9 due to all the positive reviews. We drove an hour and a half just to bring Gia to her 2 week bootcamp. Throughout her time there we could see daily pictures of her playing and training, and we were also provided updates on how she was doing. It’s been about 3 months since Gia graduated bootcamp and it has changed so much! She is still her same goofy, sweet self, but no longer is bitey, has amazing recall and obedience, and going for walks is stress free. We even are able to go on hikes with her leash. We’ve been approached several times in breweries and dog parks where people are blown away on how well behaved she is!

Most importantly, the staff at Atlantic K9 is so knowledgeable and friendly! Every person I interacted with truly understood dogs and their behavior. I was hesitant to leave her somewhere, but the moment I dropped her off I could tell she was in good hands. Gia’strainer was Jenny and she was so amazing, patient, and clearly knows what she’s doing! She thoroughly went over how to reinforce and continue her training. They even have a training session to check-in a couple months later to see how they are progressing and address any concerns.

Gia is now the sweetest girl ever and being her owner is so rewarding and stress-free. Bringing Gia to bootcamp was the best decision we could have made for her and us! Thank you so much Jenny and Atlantic K9!!!!
