We originally contacted Atlantic K9 because we wanted Max to have the most effective training and to be with a group of people who were passionate. Max is a major part of our family and we wanted to send him somewhere that would give him the best care in addition to training. We had never left Max for that long before, so when we dropped him off we were anxious. Every step of the way, Atlantic K9 checked in with us and uploaded pictures of Max for us to see, which made us feel so included and so much more at ease. When he came home after the two weeks of training, he was a completely different dog, and I mean that in the best way possible. He was still his goofy self with his unique personality, but he was so well behaved. He learned so much during his two weeks at Atlantic K9 and we are so impressed with the outcome. We are so grateful that we chose for him to go there and we plan on continuing to send him there every so often for daycare. He had such a great time and we are so thankful that Atlantic K9 welcomed him into their home.
In addition to Max’s training, we have only had positive experiences with the staff. Everyone has been so welcoming and so informative. We appreciate the communication and the trust that we’ve built with them.
Before choosing Atlantic K9, we did a lot of research on various training programs throughout New England. After having the conversation with Jenna on the phone, we felt confident that this was going to be a good choice. She listened to all of our concerns and gave me so much information on the things that Max would learn and do on a day to day basis. Right off the bat, we felt welcomed and heard. Again, we are beyond grateful with this experience and everything that we have learned.
Max is a pure bred yellow lab and he is a year old!
