It has been a year since we sent our now 2 1/2 yr old Golden Retriever, Hazel, to Atlantic K9 for the 2 week boot camp. We heard about it from our daughter, who had great success with her Australian Shephard. 

We had already gone to Puppy Kindergarten and had some private lessons as well. But despite our best efforts, the recall just didn’t last. After a phone consult with Kathleen, we decided Atlantic K9 would be a good fit for Hazel. 

Well, that was the best decision we have ever made. When we picked Hazel up at the end of her stay, Jenny patiently reviewed with us what they had taught her, and had us practice.  She encouraged us to call with any questions, or need for further guidance. At home, we worked diligently at what we had learned. The results were more than we could have hoped for.  Hazel comes when she’s called, always. She walked calmly by my side when we walk, and now I can comfortably let her off her leash and I know she will stay with me.  She is calmly excited and affectionate with guests in our home, but if it’s time to go lie down, she will follow my command, and stay.  Hazel is a sweet and loving dog, we are enjoying her so much!

We could not be more pleased with our experience at Atlantic K9. Hazel continues to go there weekly for daycare. The staff is positive, caring and kind. We are beyond thankful!
