We are so grateful for the Atlantic K9 team for taking Blue in so quickly and truly valuing our concerns. After welcoming a new baby, we began noticing some increased aggression at home and around other dogs. Having worked with Atlantic K9 years ago when Blue was a puppy, we knew it was time to revisit her training and fine-tune her skills.

From the moment we reached out, Kathleen and the entire team were incredible. Kathleen took the time to listen, understand our situation, and walk us through several training options. Blue is our baby, and it meant so much to us that she treated our concerns with such care. Together, we decided on a four-week stay at camp for a full refresh of her basic training.

We chose Atlantic K9 because of their immersive, stay-away program and were so impressed by the facility, the structured curriculum, and the fun “off-campus” excursions once dogs progress through their training.

Blue is a 7.5-year-old husky mix—our first “child” and a true working dog at heart. As our family grew, she became more protective and stubborn, which led us to seek help. After her four weeks away, we’ve seen an incredible transformation. She’s calmer, more responsive, and eager to be part of the family dynamic again.

We honestly thought you couldn’t teach an old dog new tricks—but we were so wrong. The Atlantic K9 team took Blue in, treated her like royalty, and helped her rediscover her confidence. We couldn’t be happier with the results and are so thankful for everything the team has done for our girl.
