We have a 5-year old female Yorkie mix (named Ollie) that needed some serious training due to some challenging behavioral issues. These issues included not walking properly while on the leash (pulling, refusal to walk), fear/anxiety during walks (which recently developed over the past year), and reactivity towards other dogs while on the leash (pulling/lunging/barking/growling). The reactivity towards other dogs made it almost impossible to walk her as we live in a large apartment complex with a big dog community. Additionally, we felt immense anxiety every time we had to take Ollie on a walk.

Therefore, my husband and I made the determination to find proper training to correct these behaviors. Post boot camp, Ollie seemed much more confident during her walks. No more refusing to walk, the pulling significantly decreased, she pays attention to us while walking, and there isn’t any more fear/anxiety. Ollie’s leash reactivity towards other dogs has subsided significantly and is under better control. We are continuing to work with Kathleen and Ari and cannot wait to continue to see growth and progress with Ollie. We are very happy with choosing Atlantic K9 and will recommend them to all dog owners.
