Every dog has a unique personality and every owner faces unique challenges when it comes to their training goals. Whether it’s the Atlantic K9 Bootcamp Program, private lessons, or daycare and boarding, your engagement with Atlantic K9 will always be intimate, hands-on, and long-lasting.
Ensuring that our environment is safe for your dog goes beyond setting up clean, spacious, and technologically secure boarding for their stay. Our experienced trainers use a holistic approach that considers all aspects of your dog’s well-being. We pair every dog with playmates of similar size and temperament into socialization groups and structure their day so they receive the ideal amount of playtime, mental stimulation, training, and rest.
Atlantic K9’ facilities are overseen by a well-organized command center that carefully schedules your dog’s stay to balance mental stimulation with supervised socialization and rest. We treat your dog like one of our own, providing extra attention throughout the day and structuring the program to attend to dogs with unique needs.
* In order to participate in our daycare and boarding services, we require a bootcamp training program to be completed first. This helps keep Atlantic K9’s environment safe, small, and consistent!
You’ll find Atlantic K9’s facility in Boxford, MA, located on a well-kept, 10-acre lot with a newly renovated command center on site, and several large, manicured play and training areas. Owner Kathleen James lives on the property, which means Atlantic K9 is not only her business, but a place she calls home.
Parking Tips: When you enter the facility, there’s a gravel parking area on your left, three-fourths of the way down the driveway: please park there when you arrive. When you leave, stop at the end of the gravel parking area (there’s a sign) to check if anyone is pulling into the driveway. Those pulling into the facility will move over into one of our three pull off areas, so you may then proceed to exit.
Our drop-off and pick-up time frames are scheduled in advance, as we do not offer walk-ins. These windows include 7:30am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm.
