After having cervical spine surgery and a five month recuperation, I needed to find a training solution for my two-year-old, 90 pound, very reactive Irish Setter. He had been staying with his breeder and, given the movement restrictions placed on me post surgery, I knew I had to find a training facility before my dog could come back home.

I did extensive research and, based on the wonderful reviews and the good vibe I got while reading them, I chose Atlantic K9 for a two-week boot camp stay.

I can only describe the facility and his trainer, Emmy, in superlatives.  The training was so logically structured and simultaneously very caring. Photos were available on the website every day so that I could vicariously participate. Emmy followed up with phone calls and any questions or concerns that I had were always promptly and graciously answered.  By the end of the boot camp, my dog, Bruno, was transformed into a very biddable boy, and I was supplied with all the tools and info I needed to continue the training at home.
