We first reached out to Atlantic K9 when Millie was a 16-week-old chocolate lab—sweet, social, and absolutely bursting with energy. She wanted to greet every person, dog, and squirrel within a mile radius, and we knew we needed help channeling that enthusiasm. From our very first call, Kathleen and her team (special shoutout to Kylie, who works closely with Millie and is truly the best!) made us feel completely supported. They took the time to understand Millie’s personality and quirks, kept us updated with thoughtful progress reports, and always made sure we felt confident continuing the training at home. It’s clear how much they genuinely care about every dog they work with.

Millie has now graduated from two bootcamps—her first focused on puppy foundations, where she came home a totally new pup who actually listens. Her second built on that foundation, helping her master recall (our biggest challenge!) and learn how to manage her excitement and emotions in busy environments. Now, at 13 months, Millie is still the same fun-loving, friendly lab we adore—but with much better manners, focus, and confidence. The transformation has been amazing to watch. Atlantic K9 hasn’t just trained our dog—they’ve made us better owners too. We’d be absolutely lost without them.
