We were referred by our neighbor, who had her two Golden Retrievers trained and boarded with Atlantic K9. She told us her dogs always returned happy, which gave us confidence to reach out. With two young mini Bernedoodles at home, we knew we needed some structure and support to set everyone up for success.

Our experience with Kathleen and the entire AK9 team has been outstanding. From day one, it felt like they truly had our and our dogs’ best interests at heart. They created a training foundation that made sense for both us and our pups, and their calm, consistent approach helped bring out the best in Hulk and Rogue. We have two mini Bernedoodles, Hulk and Rogue, who were still puppies when they joined AK9 in April 2025. They’re energetic, loving, and full of personality but things were also a bit chaotic without clear structure at home. Since bootcamp at AK9, they’ve become more focused and responsive, and we feel so much more confident bringing them to group settings like parks and sports fields (where we spend a lot of time). AK9 made life with our dogs even more fun!
