My daughter had to vacate her townhouse this past July. She was given a (30) day notice and was ready to move into her new place but, it would be another month before the new place was “ dog ready “ so to speak. We were faced with a huge dilemma…what to do with her German Shepherd Kaiser is a beautiful (7) year old shepherd…a pure bred Von Branderberg breed with East German bloodline. In addition to finding boarding, we thought it would be a good idea for Kaiser to get some obedience training, along with being in a very peaceful and serene setting. My daughter did some research and found (3) locations that looked like a good fit…Atlantic K9 and (2) others. After an initial phone call to one of the locations, I called Atlantic K9. I spoke with Kylie, my first point of contact, and was very impressed with her. Her pleasant demeanor, coupled with professionalism were very impressive. Along with that, her knowledge of dogs and her genuine love for them was very evident. I knew I needed to look no further. I proceeded to enroll Kaiser in their (4) week Boot Camp. This was the first time we had ever been separated from Kaiser, as well as his first venture into obedience training. Needless to say we were a bit nervous about how he would respond. I’m so happy to say, it was a wonderful experience for both Kaiser and us. Kylie and I kept in close contact and she would give me “progress reports“ and updates on Kaiser. She was absolutely wonderful. As a matter of fact, everyone I met, all the training staff, were all wonderful. In due time, I met Kathleen, the owner of Atlantic K9. I could see her genuine love for her work and for all the dogs in her care. She too was wonderful. In my days of follow up training with appts. with Kylie and Kaiser, I saw a major improvement in Kaiser. His responding to training commands and his overall personality was great to see ! I clearly saw the difference Atlantic K9 was making. As of this writing, I’m happy to say Kaiser is settling into his new home nicely and getting along great with his “cousin“ Brando… my son’s Golden Retriever. This never could have happened without Atlantic K9. Kaiser is a much better dog. His overall personality is much better. His social skills, with people as well as other dogs is much better. I’m so much more at ease… it’s a pleasure to enjoy long walks with him now. I am so very grateful to Atlantic K9. I’m so grateful to Kylie… and all the staff. I can’t adequately put into words the wonderful transformation I’ve seen with Kaiser. We will continue to see our friends at Atlantic K9 as Kaiser will be at daycare from time to time. Thank you so very much for all your hard work and dedication. Thank you for making Kaiser such a better pet and companion. Kaiser (and I) love you all.
