After seeing a van for AK9 in Ipswich, it piqued our interest to investigate who they were. After looking at the website and having a conversation with Kathleen, our mind was made up. When we embarked on our AK9 journey, Asha, a Bernedoodle, was ten months old. Her personality is very excitable and caring, and we have a young granddaughter where Asha’s behavior was important for her safety. We felt it was essential to do all we could to make her the best family member she could be, and Atlantic K9 was the right choice and worth the investment.

After two weeks of Boot Camp and a very consistent protocol of following what Jenny taught us, we are so happy with the dog she has become. I joked with Kathleen that a parent boot camp was needed. She quickly provided some online tutorials to help us. We are happy to say, Asha is doing fantastic and has indeed settled in. However, that does not mean that we have stopped all we learned; just like a child, it is a daily ritual to keep positive behaviors in place. We also love that when she goes back for daycare or boarding, her training is reinforced. We just did our follow-up in-home training session with Jenny, whose passion is evident, and worked out a few remaining kinks.
