We originally contacted Atlantic K-9 Training because of a glowing recommendation from my mom, who had heard from a previous client about their incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. The client also mentioned the great care their dog received and how they knew their dog was in a safe and welcoming environment. Most importantly, they emphasized how effective the training was and how the techniques really stuck with their dog after returning home.

Our experience with Kathleen, Jenny, and the entire Atlantic K-9 team was nothing short of amazing. We were trying to get our dog Franklin into a boot camp training program ahead of our wedding, and Jenny and the team worked diligently to accommodate our tight schedule. They were transparent about what the training would involve and the results we could expect, and we were extremely pleased with both. Throughout Franklin’s stay, they kept us informed on his progress, and the photo portal was a great way to check in on him during his time with the team.

They assured us that he was a good fit for their boot camp program and that we would finally see the results we were after. The E-collar and prong collar training techniques they used were game changers, and we finally saw the noticeable improvements we had been hoping for. Even weeks after the training, the results are still evident in Franklin’s behavior.

Franklin, or Franky as we call him, is a lab, poodle, and hound mix, weighing about 80 pounds and full of energy. At 2 years old, he’s playful, curious, and full of personality, with a mischievous and stubborn side that Atlantic K-9 helped us reign in. We couldn’t be happier with the transformation we’ve seen in Franky, and we’re so grateful to the entire Atlantic K-9 team for their dedication and expertise.
