Buckley is a Mississippi mutt (come to find out Great Pyrenees, Weimerainer and Pointer) who we rescued in the middle of the pandemic, of course. At first he was so sweet, loved meeting other dogs, and walked well on leash. But around 8-9 months old, he started being very reactive on leash and at 80 lbs with two young kids, he was more difficult to control and I was sad and frustrated.
I tried 3 separate sessions of a different type of training and really made no progress. I decided to do further research and had heard about dog “boot camps”. I heard great things about Atlantic K9 and after many nervous phone conversations with Kathleen, I decided to give it a go. And I’m so incredibly great full I did!! I now have the tools and resources to help Buckley learn, as well as ease my anxiety while walking with him. He is 100 percent better than before and I even get “look how well behaved he is” when I take him places, which is incredible. Every member of the staff is welcoming, understanding, and dedicated to the health of you and your dog. Thank you guys so so much!
