I originally picked Atlantic K9 Training based on their reviews, and I really enjoyed talking to Kathleen; she was very positive and upbeat. At first I did one single lesson with Jenny. I could not get my dog to walk on a leash, he was always on guard to make sure I was protected. Jenny was absolutely amazing and in one hour my dog was trained to walk on a leash. I was leery of the prong collar at first thinking it would really hurt my baby boy, but it’s really nothing more than a reminder his mother would give him.
I don’t know where to start with Ari. I have never met anyone so knowledgeable about dogs than her. She is super amazing and super nice; she treated my dog as if it was her own. She knew that my dog was an Emotional support animal. I wanted him to be my service animal for my mental disabilities; he helps me tremendously. I had a follow up lesson with her and we did every command that she had taught us and Tucker. Like before, I was leery of the E collar. She went over the whole thing. We found my dog’s threshold for training. My wife and I both felt the stimulation that comes out of the collar. To tell you the truth, we didn’t feel anything at all even on the highest threshold.
The type of dog I have is a Corgi/Pug mix and his name is Tucker. I think that he is now the most amazing dog in the world. Soon we are going for our CGC. I can’t wait. The next time we need training or even boarding or even a one day play date, that is the place I am going. I wish I could give them 1 million stars. Thank you so much!
