Our family picked up our Lola at 8 weeks old and right away she showed us what a smart, sweet but high energy girl she was.  Our previous dog was high anxiety and it really impacted his and our life and we wanted to make sure we handled Lola’s energy the right way.  We are also a busy family with two small children and a senior parent living with us so we knew we didn’t have the time needed to be consistent with training her on our own.

At first my husband was hesitant to send Lola to the 14 day bootcamp and selected the in-home training.  But after one session with Jenny he agreed that Lola would be in great hands.  The whole team at Atlantic K-9 is amazing.  From phone consultations with Kathleen to the folks who handle drop off and pick up at day care we feel like Lola has a new extended family.

We picked Atlantic K-9 after several of our friends went through the training program and highly recommended them.  I’m so happy we did because we now have a dog we feel like we can trust, control and therefore enjoy as she can come along on all of our family adventures.

Lola was rescued from Aruba and is called a Cunucu.  She is a total mutt!  They are known for their high energy and need for lots of space to run!  We just celebrated her 1st birthday!
