I was having some behavioral issues with Maggie which I’d tried to remedy both on my own and with obedience training classes. I was not being fully successful and I did not want the problem to continue unresolved. I basically searched online for behavioral training and found Atlantic K9.  With further research of the website and reading client testimonials, I concluded that this program could be the best fit for Maggie.

The interactions with Ari, Jenny and Kathleen have been exceptional.  I have felt well supported as I learn how best to transition Maggie’s bootcamp training to my home and our everyday life. The in-home training with Ari was particularly informative. I also really valued the one-on-one phone call with Kathleen at the conclusion of the 2 week training. I am grateful for the professionalism and attention to details offered by Atlantic K9, and in this regard, I would also like to give a special shout out to Alaina for her prompt and friendly responses to my texts and email messages.

Atlantic K9 offered the training I was searching for. I also very much liked the convenient location in Topsfield and easy accessible from RT95.  Also, wonderful, clean, spacious property. 

Maggie is a Border Collie, age 3 years. Typical BC: smart, intense, focused personality. Maggie is a nervous dog and when suddenly surprised she can get out of control and will bark and circle/herd her object. My awareness of her traits along with the training have helped me manage these behaviors. Once she warms up, she is a sweet dog, with lovely character, very playful, loves the tennis ball!   I did not recognize this before, but have learnt that she is very much food motivated!
